Small cap stocks are also seeing good shopping. 11050, with the BSE midcap index up 0.75 per cent growth is reached. The BSE small-cap index has reached the level of 0.7 per cent from 10925.
Banking, auto, IT, metal, capital goods, power and oil & gas stocks are witnessing strong buying. Nifty's Auto index 1 percent, IT index by 0.9 per cent to 1.3 per cent and metal index is visible. BSE Capital Goods Index was up 1.25 per cent to 1 per cent and BSE Power Index Oil & Gas Index was 0.7 per cent. Bank Nifty has reached the level of 1.2 per cent at 16650.
Currently, the BSE 30-share index, Sensex 302 points, or 1.2 per cent higher at 25 608 trades. The NSE 50-share Nifty index rose by 95 points, or 1.25 percent, is trading at 7844 levels.
