NEW DELHI: Indian markets are expected to trade in a range on Wednesday tracking muted trend seen in other Asian markets and SGX Nifty.

Dividend payouts hit a five-year high in FY 2014
Investors who parked money in consistently dividend yielding stocks had a bumper year in FY14. Dividend yield, the payout as a proportion of net profit, rose to a five-year high last year. It swelled to 30.8% from 28.2% a year ago and 23.2% five years ago. To be sure, an economic revival could see this dropping as companies step up investments in businesses.
